MWF Commissioner Rugged Ralph greeted the MWF fans and announced that he was vacating the MWF world title due to the broken leg sustained by reigning champion Joe Black. Rugged Ralph explained that due to a parking lot attack by UltraViolent - Double-7 Chris Simmons, Dr. Destruction, and Steve LaRock - several weeks prior to the event, that Black as well as MWF superstar Overkill could not perform and would be on the shelf for some time. Rugged Ralph then had Joe Black brought out (in a wheelchair) and Black handed Rugged Ralph the MWF world title belt. Rugged Ralph then declared the title vacant and the tournament to take place tonight would crown a new MWF World Champion. All tournament matches would be stipulations emphasizing that the battle for the MWF world title belt would be ALL-OUT WARFARE!
-----
In a non-tournament match, City Brawler Matt Rolondo (with Tragedy) pinned the Candyman following a stunner.
Following the match, Mad Dog Eric Wheeler invited Rolondo & Tragedy to join him and the Great White Hunter and together they would reform the Hunter's Majority Of Superiority stable. The newcomer Rolondo agreed and accompanied Mad Dog back to the lockeroom.
